The Safari starts from/returns to Mombasa. It is awe-inspiring and wondrous tour, filled with beautiful scenery and a wide variety of wildlife for viewing. Tsavo East is vastly known for having red elephants. Lions, leopards, elephants, crocodiles, cheetahs, zebras, baboons are also found in the park. Nature sites that you’ll tour include river Tsavo, Lugard falls, Aruba and breath taking Yatta plateau that measures 300 km in length hence being the longest lava flowing plateau worldwide. Taita hills on the other hand is popularly known for predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffalos and other wild animals.
Visitors will also spend time at Amboseli National Park, one of the best places in Africa to meet large herds of elephants. This is a scenery like no other with five different habitats i.e. dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, the savannah and woodlands, wetlands and Sulphur springs.
The name “Amboseli” is derived from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”. Visitors can also visit the local Maasai community living around the park for an experience of an exotic culture in this part of the world. Crowning this safari will not be any better without the spectacular up-close background view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
