This is a 5 days Safari from Nairobi with its ultimate destination in Amboseli National Park dubbed “Home of the African Elephant”.
Starting in Maasai Mara National Reserve (Kenya’s most popular safari destination and home to 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird’s species), we will then head to Lake Nakuru National Park which is worldwide famed for the flamingos that flock to its shores and 450 other species of birds.
Lake Nakuru National Park is a sanctuary for Rhinos (both black and white) and the Rothschild Giraffe.
Visitors will also spend one full day in Amboseli National Park, one of the best places in Africa to meet large herds of elephants. This is a scenery like no other with five different habitats i.e. dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, the savannah and woodlands, wetlands and Sulphur springs.
The name “Amboseli” is derived from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”. Visitors can also visit the local Maasai community living around the park for an experience of an exotic culture in this part of the world. Crowning this safari will not be any better without the spectacular up-close background view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
